Reflecting on My Early YouTube Days and the Journey to Rebrand and Relaunch

Back in the early days of my YouTube journey, I embarked on a series of videos featuring Super Mario. As a newbie to the world of video editing, I managed to produce what I believe was an “ok” series of playthroughs, with each world showcased in its own video. However, those initial videos were far from perfect.

At the time, I was still learning the ropes of video editing software, mastering transitions, and figuring out soundtracks. I dabbled in Chroma Key and green screen techniques for the first time, and though I did an acceptable job, there was certainly room for growth and improvement. Looking back, I realize my intro was excessively long, and the soundtrack didn’t quite fit the content.

When my health took a downturn in 2020, I found myself with plenty of time to reflect on other aspects of my life. As I recovered, I began to envision a rebrand and relaunch of my YouTube channel, armed with the knowledge and experience I’d gained over the years.

Since then, I’ve honed my skills, expanded my resources, and developed a deeper understanding of various software platforms. I’m eager to showcase the progress I’ve made in terms of editing and production quality, and as part of my rebrand and relaunch, I plan to upload those early videos alongside at least one new video. To wrap up the original Super Mario Bros 3 series, I’ll be uploading the much-awaited World 8.

To see where it all began, check out my first video from many years ago, and stay tuned for the exciting new content coming your way!
